The TEXAS BIRD DOGS Team

JORDAN HOYT

Originally from Louisiana, where I grew up waterfowl and whitetail hunting—and where my love for working dogs first began. Ten years ago, I moved to Texas and was introduced to upland hunting. After my first trip into the field behind a bird dog, I was hooked—and I haven’t looked back since. I’ve had the privilege of training and mentoring with Jared Moss of Best Gun Dogs in Beaver, Utah, whose guidance helped shape my training philosophy. My approach is rooted in building a strong bond between dog and owner, with an emphasis on instinct, trust, and practical performance in the field.

CHRISTIN HOYT

Born and raised in Texas. Christin is the brains behind the business side of Texas Bird Dogs. An attorney by day and super mom to our daughter Emmy (my little training helper), she brings organization, strategy, and a sharp eye for detail to everything we do. From managing operations to keeping us compliant and on track, Christin ensures the business runs smoothly so the training can speak for itself. Her support allows us to focus on what matters most—developing great bird dogs and building strong partnerships with our clients.
